The Washington Post Highlights Twelve States Newsroom Outlets for “Outstanding Politics Reporters”

For the first time since 2015, the Washington Post has published a list of outstanding state-based political reporters. The just-released 2020 list includes fourteen reporters from States Newsroom outlets in twelve states.

At States Newsroom, we pride ourselves on creating high-quality, non-partisan reporting and we are thrilled to see a number of our outstanding reporters recognized for their great work,” said Chris Fitzsimon, Director and Publisher of States Newsroom. “In 2015, States Newsroom didn’t even exist, and now our reporters are being nationally recognized and having an impact in more than 20 states. We are excited to see our team continue to put out excellent reporting in the years to come.”
